Ski touring race in the Dolomites

The 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon is one of the most legendary ski touring races in the Dolomites and in whole South Tyrol. Why? The routing runs through the most beautiful landscapes in Sexten, the most famous peaks of South Tyrol - the Drei Zinnen (3 Cime di Lavaredo) are always visible.

Since 15 years this ski touring marathon has been a fixture in the ski touring race calendar. Every year more and more athletes participate at the race.

The routing of the 3 Zinnen Ski Marathon

From the Fischleinböden Hut in Sexten the participants run to the Talschluss Hut and to the Zsigmondy Hut and to the Büllelejoch hut. There starts the first descent. There is the finish of the first downhill-part. The athletes have to put on the skins again and to climb Mt. Sextner Stein (2,539 m). There the last descent begins. It ends at the Talschluss Hut.
