Hubert von Goisern in Bruneck

The absolute concert highlight in Bruneck at 17th July 2009

July 09 will be a hot month. Not only because it’s summer then, but because Hubert von Goiserns is going to hold a concert on Bruneck’s main square the 17th July 2009.

Hubert von Goisern is the most famous Austrian musician today. He connects ethno-pop with folk music, blues with polka and yodeling with rock. A mix which is working perfectly! His band is multi-cultural and there are 3 South Tyrolean singers, which makes us especially proud: the three Ladin women leave a real South Tyrolean mark on Hubert von Goisern’s music!

Marlene and Elisabeth Schuen as well as Maria Moling are from La Val in Alta Badia. They have learned singing and playing violin from scratch and have attended courses in famous music-academies in Innsbruck, Salzburg, Vienna and Munich.

Since 2007 they have been in Hubert von Goisern’s band, who broke up with his former band (Alpinkatzen) in 1995. From 1995 till 2007 he did a lot of solo-projects and went among other things to Africa and Tibet.

From 2007 till 2009 Goisern and his band were on the road through Europe. The LINZ EUROPE Tour. They played in different European Countrys along the Donau River and went from one venue to the other on a Donau-Steamboat.
