Gsies´cross-country ski race
From February 13rd - 15th 2009 in the Gsies Valley the 26th edition of the International Gsies´cross-country ski race took place.
More than 2000 competitors, between men and women, are expected from all over the world.This race is the second largest winter sport-event in Italy and absolutely the biggest in South Tyrol.
The Gsies race is part of the Euroloppet, the circuit composed by 12 big competitions taking place in 8 european countries and of the Tirol Trophy.

Ski waxing service and advice in the primary school building – classic style
2 pm Pre-race jury meeting at the Town Hall
- Saturday, February 14th 2009

10.00 am Race start - 30 km classic style (interval start)
11.10 am Expected finish time of first participants
11.00 am - 12 pm Bib distribution and registration at the multifunctional building in S. Martino/Val Casies – skating style
2 pm Classic style race prize-giving
2 - 8 pm Ski waxing service and advice in the primary school building – skating style
3 pm Race Start: 14th Mini Gsieser Tal Lauf - skating/classic style

11.00 am Expected finish time of the first participants of the 30 km race - skating
