South Tyrol’s snow park Nr 1

Finally the time has come: the first snow park opens this season on the ski mountain Kronplatz in the Dolomites! Freestylers and snowboarders had to wait very long, but the snow park, which opens now, should silence every doubters.


A length of 750-800, a surface of 58.300 m², 4 lines in different levels of difficulty: it will become the biggest snow park in South Tyrol. 2 shapers are engaged to maintain and prepare the park daily; additionally a snow crawler is going to groom it about 3 hours each day.

As aforementioned, there are 4 lines: a "pro line" with3 sequent tables with 2 jumps each, that’s 6 kickers of 14 m-20 m flat and 7 rails and boxes, a "medium line" with 5 sequent tables with 7 kickers of 6 m-15 m flat and 8 rails and boxes and a "easy line": 6-7 tables with 8 low jumps of 1m-6m flat and 7 rails and boxes which stick out only 20-30 cm from the snow.

Furthermore, there is a "family fun line" with wups, loops, humps and a small castle for the ski schools.

The new snow park will be located next to the sunny Belvedere-Slope.
