The news in the Dolomiti Superski region

The Dolomiti Superski ski-region is one of the most extended in the world and also one of the best. To guarantee the high quality standard, every year were modernized ski-lifts and chair lifts and new slopes were built or existing slopes were widen out.

New slopes you can find in the Hochpustertal skiing area and in Obereggen. New chairlifts and cablecars however in Arabba, Gröden, Alta Badia, Cortina d’Ampezzo and Val di Fassa.

"Take care" – safety on the slopes

This year Dolomiti Superski is conducting an awareness campaign about caution on the slopes. All those who buy a skipass will get a small brochure with tips on correct ski and snowboard practice. The brochure suggests pre-skiing preparation and nutrition and gives the 12 FIS rules on correct behaviour on the slopes.

Sports events 2007/2008

In South Tyrol will be hold 4 ski world cup races this year, two in Alta Badia and two in Gröden. Besides there will be the IBU Biathlon World Cup in Antholz 2008. And last but not least: the Lockenfest in Kronplatz ski area!
